825 N Main is known for Roy’s drive-In, a favorite spot for Miamians from the 50’s and 60’s. It opened some time prior to 1953, and became a legend in its own right.

The empty lot next to Roy’s served as Bobby’s Fruit Stand in 1966, a business permanent enough to advertise itself several times in the paper.

Beck-Jarrett Motor Co. relocated here from 200 S Main in 1955, and remained here until some time prior to 1965.
