Notes
"Replaced the two-story Moore Hotel. Demo began in 1908, presumably this was completed by 1909. Building was empty by 1937, was demolished in 1938." NOTE: this was from an article in the News-Record written shortly after demolishing the structure. In fact, the Moore Hotel was still running in 1913, when it was purchased by A.T. Fariss. It was still the Moore in 1915. The Miami Record-Herald announced the Savoy on January 23, 1916. In late 1916, a 28 room addition was built.
