In 1959, owner Bargain Charlie Cameron closed the food market and opened up his TV sales and service shop. He sold the sexy Philco Predicta.

The next year, Charlie moved his TV shop to South Main, and opened up Cameron Laundry here. It was a favorite stopping-off place for this kid on his way home from the Rotary Park wading pool.
