1 Block, SW A

The southern half of the east side of SW A is now parking lots, but in the 60’s was home to homes and businesses.

27 SW A, 1965

27 SW A to the end of the block was home to Jimmie Smith Oldsmobile from 1947 to 1958. In 1959, Frye Motors opened up there. By 1965, the business was vacant, and a candidate for Urban renewal demolition.
